there is so much to rant and rave about these days. though, more raving than ranting since nov 3rd. yay! the Democratic party suffered a blow so hard that even monica lewinsky's kneel to fame comes second. i say, right on! americans have shown the radically left Democrats which, as we've seen from the infamous "Red map," primarly compose the wacko west and east coasts, that we refuse to sell our soul to the devil of liberal ideology.

the ideological difference between liberals and conservatives is as follows:

Liberals: "give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day."
Conservatives: "teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

liberals perpetuate dependence on government by giving handouts. conservatives wean individuals from handouts encouraging independence from government. for example, what's wrong with my controlling my future through investing some of my social security money? am i so inept that i need the government to dictate how and when i should retire? and, if we had john kerry's "plan," which is the status quo, then lucky me may be left penniless by the time i retire.

having the government foot the bill for all of our social woes siphons incentive. why should i get off my butt if i receive a weekly welfare check from my reliable, dependable government? and, you know what? the lib says, "i'll keep voting liberal all the way because i don't want to give up watching jerry springer."

conservatives entrust and encourage individuals to make something of themselves. yeah, we're good-for-nothing capitalists! we actually prefer to keep our hard-earned money in our pockets rather than those of government officials. ok. we admit it. we are pure evil! but, hey, that's the american dream. liberals, on the other hand, know what's best for you and what's best for you is determined by them. they decide for the "common good."

for you libs that don't believe in the american dream, and instead dream of living in a socialist society, then, by all means, get out. go to canada. go to london or paris. just get the hell out. we don't want you.

as we've seen last week, liberals NEED votes. liberals rely on (or shall i say prey on!) the ignorant, and uneducated. liberals promise miracles to the poor and downtrodden, and once in office, say they cannot produce these miracles because of Republicans. all liberals really want is power and money (ex. the Clinton's have covered up more scandals over power and money than the Kennedy's... well, maybe they're tied).

don't believe me? then-president clinton offered clemency to 16 puerto rican FALN terrorists in a blantant move to garner votes for hillary's ny senate race! the FALN was involved in over 100 bombings in this country alone! where is the outrage from the left? no, just silence. because the clintons, and hillary especially, is a central political figure in pushing the liberal agenda. liberals NEED a power horse like her. so, hush-hush is the order of the day, week, year for the clintons.

liberals are walking around with long faces these days (kerry more so than others) that their "oppression tactics" didn't work. you see, liberals were expecting a Kerry landslide, and were stunned, shocked, left speechless, when Bush won by not only over 270 electoral college votes, but also with a majority of the populous vote.

what happened?! voter "bring-out-the-vote" fraud back-fired?! and, didn't everyone receive their daily dose of Bush-trashing, "news" events from the radically left talking heads at CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC (the libs mouthpieces)? why didn't everyone believe the lies? Um.. maybe because they were lies and americans have proven that they are smarter than the average, sheeply lib.

"stupid, you are!" that is the liberal's argument for us not thinking like them. in order for the continued survival of the current democratic party, which is looking less promising as each day passes, liberals must keep you stupid and misinformed, if not uninformed. they reject any questioning if it betrays their "for the common good" thinking. they reject and dismiss the blogosphere, talk radio and fox tv. despite waning ratings and readerships, the mainstream media have not yet realized that they are slowly but surely losing the battle in controlling our minds. stalin fell, too, you know.

americans in vast "middle evangelical america" and in the counties beyond voted unanimously to re-elect President George W. Bush. though, contrary to what the libs and depressed foreign nations may think, We ARE the smarter bunch! and have made that clear on nov 2nd. Thank God! And, may God Bless our Country and Countrymen and women fighting in Iraq!

John Kerry Unchanged After 9/11

In the interview published on Sunday, New York Times reporter Matt Bai asked Kerry how Sept. 11 had changed him, either personally or politically. Kerry seems to freeze for a moment. 'It accelerated - ' Kerry paused. 'I mean, it didn't change me much at all.'

Any one, any AMERICAN, who states that he or she is unchanged after 9/11/01 hasn't fully grasped the reality of the state of the world today. For John Kerry to make such an incredible statement reinforces the fact that he does not see terrorism as a serious and deadly threat against the Western world, and most notably, the United States. Under Kerry's myopic view of terrorism, the United States will surely be less secure, and I have no doubt that should Kerry be elected President, our great America will be more open to terrorists and terrorist attacks.

If Kerry believes it's acceptable to reduce terrorism as a mere "nuisance" of society, much the same way he considers prostitution or illegal gambling as a nuisance, then he demonstrates both a complete and utter disregard for those lives that have been lost from this "nuisance" in the world, and an incomprehensible ignorance in the deadly ideology behind the fanatic Muslim Fundamentalist.

I am forever changed after 9/11/01. My husband is a NYC Firefighter who was down there on that dreadfully deadly day. I didn't know if he was alive. Only after 4 hours of insanity did I learn he was OK, but many in his firehouse were lost. Eight men in my husband's firehouse gone. Families disrupted. Many children without their fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers and friends. Lost forever.

Even if I did not have a direct connection to that day, I STILL would have been changed forever because life as we know it does not exist anymore, and will NEVER exist. The fun, free, fanciful times of pre-9/11 have given way to an uncertainty of life and the certainty of death. Fear has replaced fun, free and fanciful forever.

Senator Kerry has not earned the right to be President and Commander-in-Chief of our great nation. Not only does John Kerry's 30-year record in the political arena glaringly prove that he does not take world terrorism as seriously as he must, but he also states that he was not changed at all on the most tragic day in US history.

Breaking the Cycle of the "Hate and Kill" Indoctrination

The sure way to successfully put an end to world terrorism is through education, a dialogue of ideas which offer youth an opportunity that is more attractive than the path of the suicide bomber. Weak or young minds are easily convinced (aka "brainwashed") that martyrdom in the name of Allah is the enlightened path to Heaven. This indoctrination will continue long after the coalition leaves the Middle East.

Although I support President's Bush decision to go to war in Iraq, I believe that war alone will accomplish little. It's the bandaid solution. The ONLY solution to breaking the cycle of this "Hate and Kill" indoctrination currently taking place in Muslim schools worldwide is through outreach and education.

Muslims schools are breeding young militants. There are new graduates every day everywhere willing to kill themselves even if it means killing their own. Do a search on Google for "muslim schools hate." The documentation is plentiful, the discovery frightening.

France, Russia and China are jealous of the US. Why? Because the US is a wealthy nation. The US has a strong miliary. The US is the most powerful nation in the world today. These countries, and others that don't like the US, will do anything to undermine our cause on the international front. The governemtns of these countries have only proven their corruption, especially in light of Iraq. Some proof came out in the CIA report about UN's Food-for-Oil program. Saddam paid off French leaders ? No, they couldn't have. Well, I believe it. The Socialists are still in power in many of these countries, and Socialists have always been against Democracy and Capitalism. They are corrupt and bad to the bone. They're not to be trusted and I will never trust anyone who spews Socialist ideals. I've lived through it and I can tell apart Socialists and Communists from the first word they utter. So all the war on terror, all the war in Iraw, all the conflict in the world today is really a war of US against the world, at least the world who is jealous of the US and it's power. It's the Socialists hiding behind the Terrorist Fundamentalists. These terrorists are socialists too. The Baath party is based on Socialist views. So it's the same old fight. It's no longer called the Cold War, and their tacticts are more sly than ever, but don't be fooled. It's all about those who want their freedom and those that want to control "freedom."

Edwards Embarrasses Himself; Cheney Wins

Political pundits say it was a draw. I don't think so at all! and I'm quite befuddled how anyone who watched the debate in its entirety can say that it was a draw. Cheney clearly came away as the stronger candidate.

Edwards provided much entertainment for me while I watched. He wiggled and wormed, and moved his head and hands about relentlessly. He tore pieces of paper whilst Cheney spoke, and his patronizing tone when he spoke of Cheney's gay daughter was so transparent.

He acted like an adolescent, and definitely not one who could, at a moment's notice, take over the helm of Commander-in-Chief. The thought of Edwards as President frightens me even more than Kerry as President!

I was cracking up when he tried to respond to Cheney's statement: "While you were in private practice in law and as a senator, you had the advantage of a special tax loophole, Subchapter S corporation, which you set up so you could avoid paying $600,000 in Medicare taxes that would have gone into the fund."

Edwards response, after fumbling and bumbling and tripping over his speech because he was CORNERED was: "Well, first of all, I have paid all the taxes... Halliburton took advantage of loophole." yada, yada, yada.

Edwards didn't answer a single question directly and specifically when asked. And, when he did get around to answering the question it was only after accusing the current administration of doing a poor job... yada, yada, yada. Please stop pointing fingers already. It's tiresome.

I'm sick of hearing of the Kerry/Edwards imaginary "plan." Where is this plan for withdrawing our troops? Oh, wait. Or is it strengthening our troops? Or their plan for medicare, education, social security, prescription drugs. When will they fully disclose this amazing plan that they have??

Ethnic cleansing and religious overthrows are happening NOW. We can no longer keep a blind eye in regions where Christians are being slaughtered. Why are the Muslim Arabs killing the Christians and Blacks? Here's your answer: Anyone who does not share the faith of the fanatic muslim fundamentalists are the enemy and will be "cleansed." What we are witnessing today, and what is blatantly ignored or shrugged off by the pacifists (liberals, many Democrats, extreme Leftists) is a heightened and strengthened front against the non-Muslim world. 1982-1991: Thirty US and other Western hostages kidnapped in Lebanon by Hezbollah. Some were killed, some died in captivity, and some were eventually released. Terry Anderson was held for 2,454 days.

April 1983: A large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people, including 17 Americans.

October 1983: Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed.

December 1983: Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait.

December 1988: N.Y.-bound Pan-Am Boeing 747 exploded in flight from a terrorist bomb and crashed into Scottish village, killing all 259 aboard and 11 on the ground.

January 1993: Two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

February 1993: A group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured.

November 1995: A car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing five service men and women.

June 1996: Another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500.

August 1998: Truck bombs exploded almost simultaneously near 2 U.S. embassies, killing 224 (213 in Kenya and 11 in Tanzania) and injuring about 4,500.

October 2000: A small craft pulled along side the USS Cole, which was docked and refueling in the port of Aden, Yemen, exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors.

September 11, 2001: Hijackers crashed two commercial jets into twin towers of World Trade Center; two more hijacked jets were crashed into the Pentagon and a field in rural Pa. Total dead is 2,992.

June 2002: A bomb explodes outside American consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, killing 12.

May 2003: Suicide bombers kill 34, including eight Americans, at housing compounds for Westerners in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

May 2004: Terrorists attack the offices of a Saudi oil company in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, take foreign oil workers hostage in a nearby residential compound, leaving 22 people dead including one American.

Radical Muslims love pacifists. Pacifists help their cause in furthering their radical Islam ideology. In furthering their murder of Americans. But what these pacifists, or peaceniks, do not see (because of their tunnel vision) is that they are directly contributing to the destruction of their own and their loved ones lives. Terrorists will not provide safe haven for the Michael Moores of the world. These pacifists are going down with the rest of us. You are American, you will die. The terrorist will not separate the Left from the Right or the Liberal from the Conservative. We are ALL going down.

World terrorism began LONG before George W. Bush. It's unfortunate that many blame Bush for these terrorist acts. What President Bush has done and continues to do, and in which previous Presidents lacked the nerve, is to finally respond to a 30-year history of radical Muslim terrorist attacks against the United States. The history speaks for itself.

We can no longer sit idle, waiting to be nuked by these fanatics. End the tunnel vision. Wake the F##K up.

To Alfred Trentalange

Our good friend 1Lt Alfred Trentalange is in the National Guard Reserves. He's been called for active duty and will be leaving for Iraq in a few weeks. Last night, a few of us met for drinks and eats to wish Al our best overseas. We are praying for his safe return.

If it weren't for men like Alfred (and women, too!), our world would be a much darker place. But Alfred and many other great brothers and sisters are fighting this fight for freedom not only for America's sake, but for every person in every country on every continent. Do not disrespect their duty and sacrifice, and do not diminish their importance in bringing and ensuring freedom for all.

If it weren't for our service men and women of past, then perhaps we'd all be living in a totalitarian regime. Hitler would have remained in power, killing millions more, and spreading his fascist ideology around the world. For the good and protection of mankind, murderous thugs like Hitler and Hussein cannot be ignored.

It is the responsibility of all free nations to uproot these devils incarnate. If we turn the other cheek, like some would like for us to do, then we risk falling at the hands of these evil leaders. There is no doubt about it. Just think about it.... If Saddam Hussein had NO reservations about murdering his OWN people (using WMDs), then what would have stopped him from murdering those that he truly hates, like us Americans? If he were left in power, do you honestly think he would have played nice and left us alone? Men like Hitler, Hussein were sent into this world for the destruction of mankind. There is no goodness in their hearts.

Down Home, Plain-Spoken President

What is so wrong with having a President who sometimes trips over his speech? As I see it, President Bush's verbal pitfalls show that he's just a regular guy speaking from the heart, with unfaltering conviction. For this and many other reasons, I like President Bush. He doesn't have an air about him that distinguishes himself as one of these polished-speaking, elitist New England types who purportedly goes around saying he bests represent America. Plus Kerry looks funny with his brand new tan!

I dig this quote from the Three Strikes article posted on National Review.

"The side-by-side contrast between the genuine Bush and the contrived Kerry will be stark. Although he may be more articulate, Kerry's obvious calculation of each answer will make him come across as a tin man debating someone with a beating heart."

I am perplexed on how the Democratic Party is pushing John Kerry to be their candidate for the presidential election of 2004. People voted in the primaries picked John Kerry on what record: on his word or on his charisma? So far it seems that all John Kerry has going for his is his honorable Vietnam service. What else is there? Who is John Kerry? What is the vision that he and John Edwards have for the next 4 years?

I can’t help but think that all of this is a Clintonian ploy to test the waters for Hillary in 2008. This presidential race is research that is being done by the Democrats to learn the issues that have to be addressed in 2008. It is the veil to cover up the Clintons plan to occupy the White House once again. It is the plan to invade the government from the top so that their agenda, their philosophy, their immorality can persist throughout the next decade. Socialism in coming! Communism is coming! The Clintons have it all planed, and if we don’t watch carefully, it will be a reality starting in 2008.

Maybe I'm way off on this one, but I won't flip-flop. I will simply admit that I was wrong. Time will tell.

"I doubt that you can win it"

Today's Matt Lauer put a bait and switch on President Bush, leading Bush to answer him on wether we can win the war on terror. "I doubt that you can win it," Bush said. What I get from this is that the YOU he mentions means Matt Lauer alone can't win it. John Kerry alone can't win it. The Democrats or the Republicans alone can't win it. We alone can't win it -- because this is a war for the entire world. It's a war that involves not only the US, but all those who are not Islamists. It's a war that will involve the entire world, all the countries of the world. Therefore, I agree with President Bush that "I doubt that you can win it." I doubt that you alone can win it, but together we can win it.

Wake Up New Jersey

The recent turmoil created by Gov. McGreevey's resignation, is being highlighted by yet another attempt by New Jersey's Democrats to seize power in the Kingdom of New Jersey. All of a sudden New Jersey's Democrats are calling for the governor's resignmation before November 15, in order to force a special election. They wanted to run Senator John Corzine for Governor. In case my fellow New Jerseyians are asleep, let me enlighten you. Until the special election, the Speaker of the Assembly, who remains the Speaker of the Assembly, a Democrat will become Governor. Until the special election, the executive and legislative branches will be merged , giving the Democrats absoulte power, without the consent of the people. If Senator Corzine is elected Governor, this leaves a vacancy in the U.S. Senate. In such cases, the Governor gets to fill the vacancy. That means Corzine gets to pick his own successor for the remainder of his term. This means that the Democratic party, which has been responsible for all the corruption in this state up until now can continue to subvert the democratic processes of republican government, and that the damage that might have been caused by McGreevey's resignation, will have no effect. Now that Corzine has made his intention not to run, the Democratic Party is content to let McGreevey stay put until November 15 until they can figure something else at. Until then absolute monarchy continues in New Jersey. This whole plot should tell you that when the Dems urges McGreevey to step down that they did not do this in the public interest but for themselves. The motives of the Democratic Party of New Jersey are tied up in their own self-interest. Nicolo Machiavelli asserts this in the 15th century. He points out that men are out for their own self-interst and are basically evil. The New Jersey Democratic Party is a prime example of what Machiavelli tried to warn us against. Later political philosophers such as Hobbes, Locke, Montesqieu and Harrington confirm Machiavelli's thesis. There is a way out, in fact it is the only way out. I wonder what their next scheme will be. Bill Clinton needs a job. Perhaps he will be offered a teaching position at Princeton. This of course would cause Slick Willy to move to the Garden State. I wouldn't be surprised if the New Jersey State constitution has about a 24 hour residency requirement. Although this scenario is pure speculation, I wouldn't be surprised if New Jersey Dem's ran this one up the flagpole. Whatever happens I am sure they will get away with it before the citizens have awakened from their sleep. In fact that is what they are counting on. If the people of the state of New Jersey elect a Republican as its next governor, they will disrupt this Democratic Party scheme, and a balance will be restored in New Jersey. Right now the Democrats control everything. There is no balance. The people of New Jersey have chosen absolute monarchy and tyranny. The only hope of restoring good government to New Jersey is by restoring the balance. A Republican governor will vigilantly check the power of the entrenched Democratic Party of New Jersey. Only vigilance can preserve liberty in the state of New Jersey.

Misled by the Terrorists or another Conspiracy Theory

I’m sick and tired to hear that various people surveyed in different polls around the world believe they were misled by their governments about the WMDs in Iraq or about the threat of the Saddam Hussein regime. There was strong intelligence that WMDs did exist. Many of the world’s leaders and military experts believed in this intelligence. Now, either the intelligence was really flawed or we’ve all been suckered by these intelligence reports that may have been released by the enemy himself. Maybe Germany, France and Russia put out those reports! Didn’t Russian president Putin concur that those intelligence reports were genuine? There seems to be a Machiavellian conspiracy revealing itself from underneath all these complaints. Maybe the terrorists themselves planned these intelligence reports to have us get rid of Hussein! Maybe Saudi Arabia planned all this in order to get rid of Saddam and the Baathists! Maybe Osama and his cronies wanted the US to attack them, to engage us more after September 11^th to engage us on many fronts, to weaken us at home or to weaken the political support at home.

I think it was the right thing to do then. Now, we must finish what we started. They provoked and challenged us to a fight, and fighting is what they got. But, now that it looks like we’re winning, they’re desperately using cowardly tactics of hiding in ancient mosques and murdering civilians. Their insurgence into the west is also prevalent. They will continue to attack, if not on the battlefield, in our backyard, just like 9/11. They are on a mission from God and they will not stop until they will proclaim victory. We have to stand up to them and fight them. We have to understand their motives and we have to thwart them. It is their Allah that’s making them into killers. This Allah is the anti-Christ, the Devil. It’s a fight of good against evil. What is different in the world today then 100 years ago, or 200 years ago, etc.? History is repeating itself, each time challenging us all to accept the reality of it all as we try to survive as best we can. But, surviving won’t happen if we don’t band together and fight this enemy. Innocent people will die, as has happened before. But, without sacrifice we will not prevail. Germany has some nerve. They freely bash our President, the American people, but when it comes down to business, they just loooooove us! Blatant hypocrisy, I say!

German officials have voiced concern over the withdrawal of thousands of American soldiers saying it will cause much economic hardship among businesses that depend on the Americans. "Base closures would hit us very hard," said city spokesman Ole Kruse in the Bavarian city of Wuerzburg, home of the U.S. Army's 1st Infantry Division. The local economy would lose $150 million a year if the Americans left.

Awwww poor, Germany. Isn't it ironic that Germany has no reservations about "Nay, Nay-ing" to every United Nations vote for supporting the effort in Iraq, but expects the United States to maintain a military presence in the country for the sake of supporting German businesses. German officials have traveled to Washington in recent months to lobby against troop withdrawals and propose alternatives.

Again, the United States is the bad guy. It's acceptable being selfish if you're Germany, or that Other country in Europe. But, when the United States looks out for its own, well, we're badmouthed some more. It's always lose-lose situation for the United States.

President Bush made the smart decision. He sees there is no need to maintain a large number of bases and troops in Germany when we could use these forces at home, protecting the United States of America! And, why give the Germans our business, anyway? They certainly don't deserve it.

McGreevey Should Resign Now

Public officials are elected to serve the people, not their lobbyists, corporate buddies or, as in the case with New Jersey Governor McGreevey, lovers.

Jim McGreevey appointed his lover, Golan Cipel, an Israeli citizen who lacked the qualifications and experience, to an number of lucrative, well-connected jobs in both the public and private sector, one of which included the $110,000-a-year director of homeland security position. McGreevey owes it to the taxpayers of New Jersey to resign today -- not on Nov. 15.

I am not shocked to learn that McGreevey's "coming out" news conference did not shatter his popularity. People are definitely more aware and accepting of homosexuality these days. I am surprised, however, that New Jersey taxpayers are not disturbed that McGreevey directed state money to bankroll Cipel. How much money did Cipel receive and for how long? This is being investigated.

Another, more disturbing fact to this story is that Cipel, a non-US citizen, was appointed as New Jersey's homeland security czar. Cipel should never have been appointed to this position which gives the individual access to highly senstive intelligence information! McGreevey, for selfish reasons, risked the security of not only New Jersey but also our entire United States.

McGreevey's selfish nature continues. His decision to leave office after November 15th allows Democratic Senate President Richard J. Codey to finish the term. Rather than empowering New Jersey voters to decide who should lead New Jersey next, McGreevey is manipulating the democratic process so that the Governor seat remains in the Democratic Party hands whether the taxpayers want it to or not.

So, who's at fault for political jockeying? The Republicans for demanding McGreevey to step down now? Or the Democrats for rejecting any resignation until after the 15th, when they know that their party will be secure for another year and a half?

I have an idea. Why not let the people decide? A democratic governor may very well be re-elected, but at least the victory would be decided by the people of New Jersey, and not by politicians in high offices pushing their political agenda.

The Oral Office

I was listening to Michael Savage the other day, and a caller made a profound statement. He explains why the likes of Clinton and Kerry are popular among the younger generation (and sadly, among the more mature as well). These men are amoral. They do not demonstrate a strength of character. Their "principles" have a tenuous hold. They're faithless. And if they do have a faith, it's certainly not followed.

Bill Clinton repeatedly cheated on his wife. Clinton lied to America saying he never had sexual relations with a White House intern, when, in fact, he did. Some of my "friends" say, " So what! He got a blowjob in the Oval Office. What's the big deal?"

The big deal is that he defiled the residency of the President. He showed a complete lack of respect for the office and what it represents, and of those that lead before him. He humiliated his family and his country. He lied repeatedly to the people. He wasted millions of taxpayers dollars by not admitting his wrongdoing immediately. He was "caught" and tried desperately to save his own skin, at whatever cost to the American People. THAT is what's wrong with him. And, that is NOT OK with me.

Clinton is liar, which, I hope we can all agree, is not a noble quality. And, according to many Swift Boat Veterans, Kerry lied as well. He lied about his Vietnam record. If Kerry is so confident about his honorable service, then let the truth be known. Let us see those military records. If you have nothing to hide, then reveal those records to prove that these Swift Boat Veterans are, in fact, wrong.

Sadly, the youth of America identifies with the Bill Clintons and John Kerrys of the world because they're slick. But like oil on water, these guys are slick on the surface and what lies beneath is a reprehensible baseness of character. They are the epitome of the moral decay of society. Hedonists. They are driven only by what pleases them, as are most of Americans.

Many Americans are attracted to such baseness of character because they see themselves in these men. Immorality attracts immorality. Who wants someone who has strong, unwavering priciples? It only magnifies the lack of moral character of oneself. President Bush is disliked because he unequivocally maintains a high moral ground, and does not back down when confronted.

Last night, Larry King asked "Does the faith come into office?" President Bush replied with conviction, "You can't separate your faith from your life. I make decisions on what I think is best for the country but my faith is important to me and a lot of times my faith comes up because I thank people for their prayers and I mean people from all religions." President Bush does not waver. He never compromises his principles, and THAT is a quality of a true statesman!

Vote For the Regular Guy

Although Bush and Kerry may both be very wealthy, there's no disputing that George Bush is more of a "Regular Guy." His delivery isn't always polished, he stumbles and fumbles, and he still has a tendency to misprounce words (nucular), but he's more "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" than Kerry claims himself to be. (We can say the same for Laura Bush. This woman has class, and exhibits humility that the Heinz Ketchup Heir obscenely lacks.)

George Bush is unpretentious. He has my vote. And, despite what you may have seen at the DNC, cops and firefighters support Bush, not Kerry. In an article by Jack Dunphy, an officer with the LAPD and columnist for the National Review, he asks: First Responders for Kerry? The answer is a resounding NO.

Cops and Firefighters put their lives on the line each time they go to work, and sometimes even when they're off duty! They fight crime and fires. They protect and save lives. These guys and gals are far more courageous than the Democratic Presidential Nominee: John Kerry.

In just under four months, Kerry managed to acquire 3 Purple Hearts without a single overnight visit in the hospital. Odd? Yes, but maybe he was onto something since aquiring 3 Purple Hearts automatically entitled you for honorable discharge. And that's exactly where this story goes....Kerry deserted his men. He had no reservations about leaving brothers behind still fighting and dying in Vietnam.

But that's not the worst of it. Kerry returned to the US, joined the likes of Jane Fonda, and began disparaging (and outright lying) about the brothers and their "humanity crimes" in Vietnam! What an outrage! No, wonder membership of the Swift Boats Veterans for Truth has swelled, while Kerry's posse of Vietnam Swift Boat commanders has dwindled to one!

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has contacted surviving members of this group to find out how many actually support John Kerry, and discovered that of 19 Swift boat skippers pictured other than Kerry, 12 consider him unfit, 4 are neutral, two have died, and 1 is working with the Kerry campaign. Four other officers were not present for the photo session; all oppose Kerry.

Only 1 of John Kerry's 23 fellow Swift boat commanders from Coastal Division 11 supports his candidacy today.

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth know Kerry is a fraud, and is not fit to serve our country as Commander-in-Chief. And Firefighters and Police Officers know it too!

Firemen and cops would NEVER leave behind a brother. NEVER. Their brotherhood remains strong. Their selfless dedication to the job and to the brotherhood is legendary. These men and women run into HELL, rather than away from it. These men and women are unable to muster up respect for Kerry, that's why they'll be voting for Bush.

MoveOut and Shut Up

The reasons people like MoveOn.org, Hollywood, and many musicians are banding together to bash Bush is that they don't like it when "we the people" watch Fox News and read other media outside the mainstream/left media. They are loosing their voice and control over the people. They don't have the influence they once had and they want to make sure that they get their power of control back by lying to us and using various deceiving tactics. When MoveOn.org puts out an ad in the New York Times (pdf file), how are they then "fair and balanced"? The Republicans have FOX. Right, they ONLY have FOX, while the Democrats/Leftist/Socialist/Communists have ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and many, many more. Is that fair? Who is being a Communist now? They control most of the mainstream media and yet they complain that one network, FOX, exists, and they are comparing it to the Communists. Do they know the meaning, the philosophy, and the idealisms of Communism? Are they simply using the word to fend off their own intentions and goals?

And then we have these musicians who are abusing their status to spread their political beliefs by holding concerts across the US. Why don't they stick to their job of singing and playing their instruments? They're not asking me for my opinion and I don't have their status to put on a venue to share my opinions. It's a free country, but where is my freedom. Just because they have the clout of putting a show, why choose a side in the political arena.

Please don't be blind to the Left's tactics and innuendos. They will convince you of that which is wrong. They will brainwash you and make you believe their cause is great, but it's not the right cause. Where is their humility? Humility is real and truthful. Learn to understand their underlying causes. They are slick, devious, and crafty, so beware.

What is Your Priority: the Economy or Homeland Security?

I don't get people that care solely about the economy. They want better jobs, affordable education and healthcare. These are all valid concerns, but do you honestly believe that an "economy" will exist if we do not first ensure homeland security?

Let me tell you something. There will be NO economy if our country's security is comprised. Just listen to today's news! Al Qaeda will attack New York City again, and possibly this month! They will target our financial institutions and office buildings. They will do everything and anything to bring down America. And then what?

Our markets will crash and jobs will vanish in a blink of an eye. Unemployment will soar to incredibly highs. Americans will be struggling even more so, unable to afford basic necessities, let alone an education!

The news that has just come out today tells me there is only ONE issue that matters and it's securing our country from these religious fanatics (and getting them before they get us!). Homeland Security is the Issue of all Issues, and it should be on the minds of every American from the moment they wake up until the time they go to bed.

If we fail at securing America, then our way of life, our very existence, is in jeopardy. Forget about getting a handout from the government. You'll be lucky if you're even alive!

On page 26 of the August 2004 issue you suggest that on August 29 I should "follow the lead of Codepink ... to fire Bush." There is NO place for politics in your magazine, especially considering the political climate of the day, and the fragility of world unity.

You have blatantly ABUSED your editorial responsibilities so you could further YOUR political agenda. Liberals of your ilk continually confirm to the rest of us rational (not radical) thinking Americans that you're motives are SELF-serving and never in the interests for the great of mankind.

I am a proud Bush supporter, and I am absolutely offended that you took a cheap shot at our President in a time of WAR. Keep your personal political agenda out of your magazines, and don't tell me how I should vote. (Are you so desperate to have Kerry in office that you would ask your readers to fire Bush?? Pathetic.)

America's Image Is More Important Than American Lives

After watching Kerry's speech in its entirety, I realized that this man cares more about how the rest of the world views America than the lives of its inhabitants. Peppered throughout his speech, he spoke of how he'll improve America's image and relations with the rest of the world. America will regain the respect, and we will stand proud once again.

Um. Does this man not comprehend that we are at war? And, that we are extremely vulnerable to terrorists who want nothing more than to destroy America and its people? And this man cares more about what France thinks of US? Unbelievable.

This man had the opportunity to step up and show America that he's capable and ready as Commander-in-Chief to kick some terrorist ass. But he completely fails at proving he has the wherewithall to do it. He's weak. He's submissive to the UN. France, Germany, China and any other country who hates America, will ALWAYS hate America no matter who is president. What is Mr. Kerry going to do to make them "like" us?

This is NOT a popularity contest. This is not about appeasing foreign countries. This is about life and death, of not just Americans but of people from all faiths and ethnicities. This is about showing unwavering strength against an enemy. President Bush has admirably and unequivocally proven himself in this endeavor. Mr. Kerry has not. Remember, "I actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars before I voted against it." That's Kerry. Is this man presidential material? Am I the only person saying, "Huh?"

America was viciously attacked on 9/11. There are terrorists among us (YES, THERE IS PROOF!) who are planning to carry out another vicious, deadly attack. Do we want a man who will strike only AFTER we've been struck? Or do we want a man with conviction, who will go after them with a vengeance and get them before they get us??

Kerry made it clear lastnight that "Any attack will be met with a swift and certain response." I do NOT want this man to be my President!!! We must be proactive on terror, not reactive! That's the difference between President Bush and Mr. Kerry.

So, Um... Are we living in poverty or are we well off enough? I'll tell you... I don't want to be taxed MORE! Jeez. I work long, hard hours. I have THREE jobs. Yes, three, and I'm not Jamaican. Enough of my paycheck is going to the local and federal governments for failed Leftist programs. I don't want more money taken out.

These Commie Dems have their heads up their asses. They have no clear idea of who I am. Or of who you are. Why do they feel they have the right to take more of my hard-earned money to give to the 35 million Americans living in poverty? Dontcha think the better solution is to figure out WHY these people are poor in the first place, and correct it?

Provide incentives for people to get up OFF THEIR ASSES and do something with their lives! Giving hand-outs (taking from people like me) only perpetuates the entitlement attitude many have. How about firing teachers who CANNOT teach? Unions are not helping the situation when you can't fire a teacher who has failed to do his or her job in teaching. That's why kids are so stupid these days. Because standards are lowered and bad teachers are never fired. How about fixing the "poverty problem" from that angle rather than taking MORE of my money!!!

You know, it offends me to see that the only solution these obscenely weathly Left politicians have is to raise taxes. Do they understand that they are really hurting middle-class, hardworking people like myself?! I do not have the means to hire deceitful lawyers who can find the "loopholes" in the tax law for me. An Iraqi Artist Expresses His Gratitude

This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas.

The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.

Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.

To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.

Do you know why we don't hear about this in the news? Because it is heart warming and praise worthy. The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect that a flashed breast or controversy of politics does. But we can do something about it. We can pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave military who are making a difference.

I don't know about you, but I take this threat seriously. For some reason, the political Left and the pro-Islamic/anti-American folks do not. Or maybe they do, but they just don't care. Maybe their plan is to hide-out in Madonna's, Michael Moore's or some other airhead celebrity's fortress.

Didn't these people see the 1983 made-for-TV movie "The Day After?" I was in high school then, yet I remember it vividly... You can't forget those images of people evaporating and the ensuing destruction from radiation contact.

What's scary is that the political Left and its constituents do not see the grave error in denouncing our President and THEIR country. Their anti-Bush/anti-American rhetoric IS inciting others (Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia...HECK all those crazy terrorists born and bred in the Middle East) to exact nuclear, biological, chemical warfare on American soil. Aren't these people at all concerned that, at the very least, nobody will be around to go their movies or buy their CDs because we'll all be turned to dust?!

Oh My God. It's frightening to know that there are many Americans who are so willing to sympathize with these terrorists. That they willingly join these "martyr recruitment centers" to give their lives in exchange for taking away thousands, millions of other innocent lives. It's absolutely sickening, and so incredibly scary.

Where is that wake-up call these people need?! I thought 9/11 was that call, but apparently NOT. I don't know what we can say or do to convice the Left otherwise. Will we have to experience another 9/11? Perhaps an event with even greater, devastating results??

Read this article. Can you live with yourself knowing that your anti-American rhetoric is bolstering these men to devise plans of Death and Destruction?

Tell Me, Why Should I Vote for John Kerry? By Vincent Asaro

I was trying to get to sleep one night, but I found it difficult. For some reason the political situation weighed so heavily on my mind, that putting pen to paper and getting things off my chest seemed the only way to get some rest. I guess the specter of a John Kerry Administration has been causing me many a sleepless night recently.

I consider myself a rational human being, even though some may disagree. This being the case, I could not come up with a good reason why the people of this nation would want to replace George Bush with John Kerry. Maybe I was missing something. So, I have decided to ponder the question in the hope of discovering whether I should keep a more open mind about Senator Kerry from Massachusetts.

Every campaign has spokespersons, so I would look to them to tell me why I should vote for John Kerry. In looking to the people who speak for John Kerry, however, the only thing I was able to get out of them, is why I should not vote for George Bush.

First, I turned to the distinguished senior Senator from Massachusetts, Senator Edward Kennedy. Certainly, this man, with his credentials and connection with the single greatest political family dynasty in American history, could convince me. When I listened to Senator Kennedy, why John Kerry would be better for education, the economy or homeland security, he simply spewed forth nasty epitaphs about President Bush and that we should vote for Kerry simply because we hate George Bush. At a Kerry rally he screamed to the crowd, asking if they were happy to see him. He was more concerned about this, than about why the people should elect Senator Kerry. It is important to Senator Kennedy that people are still happy to see him. What is so incredible is that so many people in Massachusetts still are happy to see him, and have consistently returned him to the United States Senate. It is incredible that the people of Massachusetts have so much confidence in Senator Kennedy, an alcoholic and a person who once got away with murder, that they are comfortable in having him represent them in the United States Senate.

Not satisfied with Senator Kennedy’s words of wisdom, I turned to the distinguished people in the entertainment industry. So, I searched for others who were speaking on behalf of Senator Kerry. The people of the entertainment industry might be a good source, because after all, at a recent fundraiser, Senator Kerry said that these people represented what average Americans were really thinking. Of course, these people are hardly average, but because of what they do for a living and with whom they associate. So, keeping an open mind, I decided to hear what they had to say. Could they tell me what John Kerry was going to do for education, health care, the economy, national security? Did he really have a better plan than GWB? Why would John Kerry make a better president than George W. Bush?

Michael Moore and the other "leaders" of Hollywood liberalism provided no more help than the senior Senator from Massachusetts. They could not answer any of the questions I posed. The only answer to my questions was why I shouldn't vote for George Bush.

The Hollywood liberals have compared George Bush to Adolf Hitler and worse. They have told us how stupid George Bush is. They have told us we should not vote for Bush because we should all hate him. Surely, these people, who Mr. Kerry said reflected the opinions of all Americans, could tell me how they felt about education, the economy, healthcare and homeland security. Did they even care about these issues? So, why is John Kerry any better, because the Hollywood liberals don’t hate him? Why do these people love Mr. Kerry so much and hate Mr. Bush? Perhaps if I knew this, it would help.

The liberal’s hatred for Mr. Bush goes back to their love affair with Bill Clinton, a president known for his many love affairs. Hollywood may not hate Mr. Kerry, but they adored President Clinton. When Clinton was President, they had access. They were invited to the White House, and perhaps, if they were really part of the "in" crowd, they might get to spend a night in the Lincoln bedroom. When George Bush was elected, they no longer had access, the party was over.

The reason the Hollywood liberals could not tell me anything about education, healthcare, the economy of homeland security, is because they don’t care about these things. They don’t need to care. They can afford to educate their children anyway they want. They can afford the best doctors. They have enough money so they don’t have to worry about how they are going to make ends meet, and finally they can afford the best security, so they don’t have to worry about being killed in terrorist attacks. Their reasons for hating Bush are that they can’t hang out with him. They no longer get invited to slumber parties at the White House. They do not have a President that represents the decadent lifestyle that some of them choose to lead. They can’t stand President Bush because he talks about devotion to God, family and country, and by doing so, he exposes these Hollywood liberals for the immoral scum that they are.

President Bush has committed himself to "no child left behind" in education. He has taken a stand against terrorism. He had the resolve to topple an oppressive regime in Iraq that supported terrorism. Since 9/11, when President Bush took charge, there has not been a terror attack on U.S. soil, proving that our borders are more secure. President Bush is committed to tax cuts that have stimulated a growth in our economy. He continues to pursue more affordable health care for all. Americans are more prosperous and more secure, than at any time in our history. John Kerry voted against funding for the efforts of our troops to liberate the Iraqi people from terrorism. He has repeatedly changed his positions on the issues in this campaign to reflect more of what he thinks the voters want to hear. This lack of conviction and failure to take a stand is a perfect example that John Kerry is motivated by self-interest.

The rhetoric of the supporters of Mr. Kerry gives me no credible reason why I should not continue to support President Bush, in fact, this rhetoric tells me why I should not support the Kerry campaign. It is a campaign that is not backed by people who value the devotion to God, family and country that President Bush is dedicated to. It is not a campaign backed by people who care about the everyday issues that average Americans concern themselves with. The Kerry campaign is a campaign of self-interest, and a campaign that reflects what is wrong with our political system in general.

In ancient Greece, classical republicanism emphasized the devotion to the gods and to the nation. There was honor and glory in public service, and the ancient Greeks looked down upon those who were motivated by self-interest. Ever since the demise of classical republicanism, the honor and glory of public service, has been replaced by the politics of self-interest. John Kerry and his supporters on the left, represent the latest and most gruesome example of this. John Kerry’s supporters are trying to focus our attention away from the important issues, like education, healthcare, the economy and homeland security. They are attempting to do so by trying to focus our attention on the hatred they have manufactured for President Bush. If John Kerry's campaign were to focus on the real issues and the truth, then he would lose by an overwhelming majority.

This is what I wrote:

After seeing Cohen push a 12-foot-tall effigy of President Bush, I will NEVER buy this ice cream again. I have also forward this article, http://abcnews.go.com/wire/US/ap20040721_998.html, to many of my friends and family, and they too are going to BOYCOTT your ice cream.

Even though "Ben and Jerry" may not own this company anymore, they are identified through their ice cream, and I refuse to give my hard-earned dollars to a company founded by Socialist-Hate-Spewing-Worthless-Americans.

Their rights should not override their responsibilities as an American in a time of war. Their Anti-American protests fuel world terrorism, and in my eyes (and in the eyes of many Americans), these guys who so freely spew their hatred for our country are causing direct harm to our soldiers and innocent citizens. Are these guys idiots or what? They don't want to single out men of Middle Eastern descent because it'll reduce us to their level? Are you kidding me? Are these morons equating the act of profiling with that of blowing up planes killing thousands of people?! What a moronic argument. So, in other words, we should let these people on our planes for fear of offending them while possibly putting to death thousands of other people -- innocent people.

For the record, profiling becomes a necessity when history has proven that Middle Eastern men have been responsible for most, if not all, terrorist hijackings.

What an absolute OUTRAGE!!! Profile them! Profile every single Middle Eastern-looking man. I don't give a damn about offending them or the ACLU-loving constituents. If it means pulling aside a potential terrorist, and saving everyone in the air and on land , then so be it. The safety of Americans comes first. Not the sensitivities of a select group. Especially considering what just happened here in America only 3 years ago!!! Has everyone forgotten the tragic day of 9/11?? Has everyone lost their sense of reason?!

Politically correct agendas will kill us in the end. If we're not permitted to profile people, then what's the point of keeping a "terrorist watch list?" My comment on Iraq the Model:

Anti-war protestors should be reading your blog. Maybe they'll see that this war has brought a level of peace and will continue to do so to a region where previously its villages and people were pillaged, raped, murdered and tortured.

When you pointedly inform these anarchists and anti-war protestors that Iraqis WELCOME their new-found freedom, they brush it off with some unintelligent, ill-conceived accusation against Bush. They cannot fathom life under a terrorist regime (although they make claim Bush is the real terrorist!), and that's why they are quick to dismiss and excuse the atrocities committed under Saddam's regime.

I wish the words from these incredibly courageous brothers are heard and echoed throughout the world.

If there are any news organizations lurking, PLEASE consider inviting the brothers to America for an interview to educate those individuals "Brainwashed-by-Left-Rhetoric." Be just as courageous as Mohammed, Ali and Omar. I urge you to do something.

I really do hope these brothers get some air time to counter these anti-war activitists! Especially since the anti-war terrorists (that's what they are!) are now planning to infiltrate the Republican National Convention with such evil tactics as foiling security measures. For instance, one website gave intricate instructions on how to get the scent of gunpowder on one's clothing to draw bomb-sniffing dogs into a false search for explosives. Of course, that could enable real terrorists with real bombs to elude security checkpoints.

These anti-war terrorists are no different than Michael Moore's "revolutionary insurgents" who indescriminately behead innocent, peace-keeping people. Both groups seek to cause destruction. Both must be stopped DEAD in their tracks.

I've also signed the petition to prevent Duke University from allowing the Palestine Solidarity Movement, the American, student arm of the International Solidarity Movement to hold its national conference on the campus of Duke University. Why it's OK for your school's history teacher to dispense her political ideologies in the classroom but it's NOT OK for Bryan Henderson to do so in return? Where is the fairness? Why are students (brave for standing up against an incredibly slanted LEFT educational system), denied the very same freedom that their teachers abuse?!

It is hypocrisy. These teachers permit free speech only for students who share similar ideologies. If you stray from "common thought" then you are silenced or abused. In others words: Individual expression and thought is Oppressed.

News Alert: Elevating your constitutional right above all others is in direct conflict of the socialist ideology of equality for all. The history teacher may introduce her political ideologies in class, yet a student is not permitted the same respect. Where is the equality she purportedly defends as a Marxist?

What is it that you fear? A healthy, intellectual, fact-based debate for the TRUTH? Wouldn't such a debate expand the critical thinking skills with which a student should graduate? Wouldn't a healthy debate and search for the TRUTH nurture our future leaders? Or would you rather have America's future be lead by individuals with no individual thought?

Don't you see the danger in silencing students who have conviction? So few students HAVE a conviction about anything except for sports or entertainment, and for those students who display truly intellectual prowess, you want to silence? Why? We should be supporting students who display such a high moral ground rather than silencing them!

Please pass this message on to that Leftist history teacher: Silencing us will only incite us to speak out more. So, afford Mr. Henderson and others like him to freely express themselves. In the end, they'll speak out anyway, and you'll only have made a fool of yourself... You tell someone to shut up, and they will only speak louder instead.

To Bryan Henderson: You are a courageous soul on a mission for TRUTH. You have also brilliantly documented (with facts) a political position for which your LEFT students and teachers have no argument against. That is why they have resorted to virulent attacks against you. That is why they rip down your posters, but refuse to be photographed while doing so. If they truly believed in their message, they would defend their position with a dignified stature, without an impetuous, highly-emotional response.

These group thinkers would rather oppress your freedom of speech than engage in a civil, adult debate. How absolutely transparent. They don't realize that they're only hurting themselves and their "cause" by personally attacking you (calling you a racist, etc.) rather than discussing the issue at hand. One thing I've learned is to never attack a person's character when in disagreement. It only makes you look stupid. If you disagree with their position, then attack the position, not the person.

You and other Protest Warriors are on the right track in search of TRUTH, and your voices are being heard. No doubt about it. We and so many others out there support you and your quest.

Dumbing Down of America

It has been my firm conviction that the Left is slowly dumbing down the American youth. When science has proven that, as humans, our comprehension and learning abilities are highly enhanced in our youth, the Left's solution is to diminish the learning process during these important years.

How, you ask?

First, by not instituting strict rules toward parents' role in their children's education, the Left already has a hold on dumbing down American's future from their birth. The education of children should always begin at home. But, after years of the dumbing effect, many parents don't teach their children at home.

Second, the Left loves to pour more and more money to make it simpler for students to pass their grades, to feel sorry for those kids who have failed, to give them a free ride and pass them anyway. Where is the logic in all this? They are admitting to their inferiority by giving them a helping hand. There is no inspiration to thrive, or a drive to push them to achieve their potential. They are constantly told that they are failures and then are helped to stay that way.

Third, the Left has conquered the majority of the educators into their way of thinking. Many of these educators are socialists and Communists. Then, they spew their belief of the Left to the young adults without fairness to the other side or the other points of view. This allows for the dumbing down of these young adults – to think only of the Left’s cause, instead of allowing students to research and form their own point of view.

Fourth, educators in charge, which are usually part of the Left, have made a mockery of the schools and education system -- filled with bureaucracy and apathy and unskilled teachers that don't get the recognition they deserve.

The world will rely on our youngsters, yet the Left is impeding their preparation for the today's world.

My comments on this great article are as follows:
The "letter from a father to his sons" is an awesome retelling of the truth, which many fail to recognize. The fundamentalist Muslims are calling this war a Jihad -- a Holy War. As President Bush said in one of his speeches, either we are with the terrorists or with the US. That’s the premise of the state of world affairs, especially with the war on terrorism. We are all soldiers now, as there is no distinction between soldiers and civilians by the fundamentalists. Have I missed the reports from the Muslims in this country admonishing the terrorist atrocities occurring in Iraq, much less their distress of 9/11? I have noticed that there has been a surge of Muslims in the US as well, and I wonder how many of them are gansters of the Fundamentalist Movement. These terrorist have made it their religious calling to convert the rest of the world to Islam or to kill infidels (though now it seems that they would rather just kill us). So either way, if we don’t defeat them, we will either be converted to Islam or killed.

i don't get these liberals. they are so quick to defend the beaten and downtrodden victims (really, criminals!), yet they don't see the justice in removing an evil despot. AND there's PROOF that Saddam was connected with al qaeda. it's totally backwards.

don't get me wrong... i am not "for" war. who's for war? Mother Teresa was "for" peace. i am for peace. but how can we, collectively, bring peace to this world when so many people have lost the ability to think/reason for THEMSELVES? why have so many people let others decide their fate? why isn't anyone protesting terrorists pushing children to become suicide bombers?

I keep reading articles that seems to assure that maybe the Muslim Religion itself may be our enemy. I don't believe that yet, but I'm trying to find articles and fact that would rebuke this idea. I've come across this article: Saudi Arabia – beheading capital of the world from WorldNetDaily.com. The theocracy in Saudi Arabia and across most of the Middle East region is scary. Are they using terrorism to force my belief system? Are they hiding behind the terrorists to push for a world religion? Actions speak louder than words, the cliche saying goes, but where are the facts to contradict this idea. Have you come across any evidence to the contrary? Please let me know. I will add additional proof that I find in the comments of this post.

Did you know that salaries for the Iraqi people have increased considerably since the fall of Saddam's regime? Did you know that, again for the first time ever, a Film and TV school will open in Baghdad? Did you know that young Iraqi businesswomen will be able to participate in an exchange program that provides an opportunity to learn management and business skills abroad? Did you know that private schools, which were abolished under Saddam's regime, are now opening throughout Iraq? Did you know that 2,358 Iraqi public schools have been rehabilitated and now provide a free education to all Iraqis, 60% of whom are illiterate?

Sadly, your news organization has failed its editorial obligation to report news that is "fair and balanced." Your negative reporting misleads your ignorant readership into believing that this war has accomplished nothing but make life worse for the Iraqis. If your news organization has done its homework (see examples above), then you will find quite the opposite is true! Here's a suggestion: Why not interview an Iraqi to hear how this war has fared him or her, as this gentleman states, http://iraq-iraqis.blogspot.com/2004/06/my-house.html, before you publish your next negative article?

This is a great blog. There are so many of them that I didn't know existed. I am happy to see and read the voices of the Iraqi people. Here is another Iraqi blog that I found (read the First Open Letter to President Bush - June 3, 2004): THE MESOPOTAMIAN. Thank God for the Internet and the freedom to express our views. If it was up to the Left, we would only hear their point of view. Inform yourselves and come up with your own conclusions. Don't let someone else dictate what you should think or what to say. The coalition is helping Iraq to rebuild their infrastructure so that THEY (not US) may capitalize on their oil wealth. So that THEY (NOT US) may invest in providing a better education for the children of Iraq... OH YEAH, only this time, the women of Iraq will also be allowed to sit in on classes.

How can the mainstream media dwell on the misrepresentation that Iraqi prisoners in the Abu Ghraib prison were tortured, when there is plenty of evidence what kind of real torture that occurred in that prison, and other prisons throughout Iraq. These prisoners are the enemy and they were disgraced. Yes, they were abused, but that's what happens in war -- a war that we need to win. Come on now, they did not have their limbs or heads chopped off -- they didn't DIE!!! They were forced to endure disgrace and humiliation in order to get information. You want to hear what real torture occurred in this prison during Sadamm's regime? Cowards

They call themselves jihadists, but these animals (there is no other word to describe them) are cowards. Sure, kidnap a civilian and demand this and that then decapitate him. These jihadists are worse than animals. At least animals kill for food, but these "nothings" kill for the pleasure of killing, for the pleasure to make us cringe from fear. I'm not afraid. If anything I get more and more angry and at times I want to succumb to their level. Should I? Can I?

These "nothings" are not men. God didn't make them. They are EVIL. The devil made them. They deserve what will come to them. I will pray for the rest of us who have faith and I pray that God will do justice.

i am in disbelief that the world is so against this effort (yes, it's war) to free iraq. would you rather the despot saddam hussein remain in power? the man ruthlessly killed millions of his OWN MUSLIM people. the man and the thugs he employed raped women, tortured men and plundered communities. why do so many people voice outrage in the coalition's effort to build a self-governing iraq where the people (especially women) are free to further themselves in every possible facet of life. WHY on earth is there so much opposition for fighting a battle (yes, that means people may die) for the building of a free society??? should we have left hitler in power? stalin in power? should nations do nothing when there is evidence of ethnic "cleansing"? shouldn't nations have a responsibility to dethrone those brutal dictators if they have the means to?

i just don't get it. i don't understand how so-called "humanists" spew bush-hate speak, yet turn the other cheek when mass graves are unearthed. Or fall silent when the innocent are brutally beheaded. where is the outrage? where is the muslim voice denouncing such acts of barbaric brutality committed in the name of their God?? is this Allah's message? to kill anyone who is not of the muslim faith? have we all gone mad pacifying these terrorists????

should we plead with terrorists to not kill anymore? will they listen? if someone, without warning, came up to you and punched you in the face with full force, are you going to reason with them: "why did you punch me? what can i do so that you won't punch me again..." or will your impulse be to punch back? what is your solution? what is your response to the wanton decapitation of innocent people? how would you respond if it were one of your loved ones? Hey Madonna: if a car bomb exploded in your backyard, would war then be justified?

i have a suggestion for these isolated, protected, perched-high in society liberal celebrities: have a one-on-one with a dead fireman's wife and children before you spew your garbage politics to your weak-minded audience.

fuck them and those politicians that want to "pull-out." you pull-out and you send a message to terrorists around the world that they have the power to sway public opinion through FEAR. creating an atmosphere of fear is oppression at its core...

i do not fear you. i only hope that our leaders will eventually band together to fight the Oppression brought on by these terrorists... if we give up this fight, then i suggest you prepare yourself for life as it was back in the dark ages.

for the selfish blonde chick who stood up during Ani DeFranco's set at the Clearwater festival: how can you attend a folk concert, which represents an ideology of community and love and sharing and all that other unselfish qualities, with one in which it's all about YOU and getting the best view?

why has "me" and "i" replaced "us" and "we" ?? Why is it all about YOU? this question is for all the self-proclaimed hippy boneheads who arrived just BEFORE Ani was about to perform and claimed a spot front and center blocking the view for everyone behind them who had set camp for HOURS waiting anxiously, patiently, eagerly to catch this woman perform?

this ME mentality has run amok. but, of all places you would expect to NOT see it would be at a Folk Festival. Bunch of phony people you are. that smirk you gave us. all of you Yippie (yuppie hippies) chicks are living a LIE. you defy our pleads to sit down, like the rest of the hundreds of people attending. we begged and you smirked. Bunch of self-indulgent, inconsiderate people you are.
